Let burning coals fall upon them! Let them be cast into pits, no more to rise!


Requite them according to their work, and according to the evil of their deeds; requite them according to the work of their hands; render them their due reward.


When they blew the three hundred trumpets, the Lord set every man's sword against his fellow and against all the army; and the army fled as far as Beth-shittah toward Zererah, as far as the border of Abel-meholah, by Tabbath.


And the bramble said to the trees, ‘If in good faith you are anointing me king over you, then come and take refuge in my shade; but if not, let fire come out of the bramble and devour the cedars of Lebanon.’


if you then have acted in good faith and honor with Jerubbaal and with his house this day, then rejoice in Abimelech, and let him also rejoice in you;


And Jotham ran away and fled, and went to Beer and dwelt there, for fear of Abimelech his brother.
