“Can you find out the deep things of God? Can you find out the limit of the Almighty?


It is higher than heaven —what can you do? Deeper than Sheol—what can you know?


Look at the heavens, and see; and behold the clouds, which are higher than you.


The heavens are the Lord's heavens, but the earth he has given to the sons of men.


Our God is in the heavens; he does whatever he pleases.


Guard your steps when you go to the house of God; to draw near to listen is better than to offer the sacrifice of fools; for they do not know that they are doing evil.


Be not rash with your mouth, nor let your heart be hasty to utter a word before God, for God is in heaven, and you upon earth; therefore let your words be few.


For thus says the high and lofty One who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, and also with him who is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.


Thus says the Lord: “Heaven is my throne and the earth is my footstool; what is the house which you would build for me, and what is the place of my rest?
