I said, “O sovereign Lord, explain this to me: Why did I see the man coming up from the heart of the sea?”

I said, “Supreme Lord, show me why I saw a man rising up from the heart of the sea.” He said to me,

Then I said, “Lord and Master, please tell me why the man came up out of the sea.”

Then I said, “O sovereign Lord, explain this to me: Why have I seen the man coming up from the midst of the sea?”

Then I said, “Lord and Master, please tell me why the man came up out of the sea.”

Then I said, “O sovereign Lord, explain this to me: Why have I seen the man coming up from the midst of the sea?”

Then said I, O Lord that bearest rule, shew me this: wherefore I have seen the man coming up from the midst of the sea.
