Thou dost cause the grass to grow for the cattle, and plants for man to cultivate, that he may bring forth food from the earth,
For as the earth brings forth its shoots, and as a garden causes what is sown in it to spring up, so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.
And what you sow is not the body which is to be, but a bare kernel, perhaps of wheat or of some other grain.
For not all flesh is alike, but there is one kind for men, another for animals, another for birds, and another for fish.
So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.
