Seek advice from every wise man, and do not despise any useful counsel.

“Get advice from everyone who is wise, and don’t despise what they say, since all advice is useful.

Set out your bread and your wine at the burial of a just man, and do not eat and drink from it with sinners.

Lay out thy bread and thy wine upon the burial of a just man: and do not eat and drink thereof with the wicked.

“Take the advice of sensible people, and never treat any useful advice lightly.

Ask counsel of every man who is wise, and don’t despise any counsel that is profitable.

Show respect for the wise and never reject good advice.
