While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.”


“Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell me, if you have understanding.


to him who spread out the earth upon the waters, for his steadfast love endures for ever;


By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, and all their host by the breath of his mouth.


The north and the south, thou hast created them; Tabor and Hermon joyously praise thy name.


The Lord reigns; he is robed in majesty; the Lord is robed, he is girded with strength. Yea, the world is established; it shall never be moved;


In his hand are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also.


Say among the nations, “The Lord reigns! Yea, the world is established, it shall never be moved; he will judge the peoples with equity.”


Do you not fear me? says the Lord; Do you not tremble before me? I placed the sand as the bound for the sea, a perpetual barrier which it cannot pass; though the waves toss, they cannot prevail, though they roar, they cannot pass over it.
