He said to him, ‘I will condemn you out of your own mouth, you wicked servant! You knew that I was a severe man, taking up what I did not lay down and reaping what I did not sow?


For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the spirit of sonship. When we cry, “Abba! Father!”


For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God's law, indeed it cannot;


for God did not give us a spirit of timidity but a spirit of power and love and self-control.


For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become guilty of all of it.


There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and he who fears is not perfected in love.


to execute judgment on all, and to convict all the ungodly of all their deeds of ungodliness which they have committed in such an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”


And Samuel said to the people, “Fear not; you have done all this evil, yet do not turn aside from following the Lord, but serve the Lord with all your heart;
