Then Judah went up and the Lord gave the Canaanites and the Perizzites into their hand; and they defeated ten thousand of them at Bezek.
Adoni-bezek fled; but they pursued him, and caught him, and cut off his thumbs and his great toes.
So the people of Israel dwelt among the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites;
When he mustered them at Bezek, the men of Israel were three hundred thousand, and the men of Judah thirty thousand.
