Then he said to them, “Whose head is this and whose title?”
And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription?
And Jesus said to them, Whose likeness and title are these?
“Whose image and inscription is this?” he asked.
And Jesus said to them, "Whose image is this, and whose inscription?"
And Jesus saith to them: Whose image and inscription is this?
Show me the coin used for the tax.” And they brought him a denarius.
They answered, “Caesar’s.” Then he said to them, “Give therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s and to God the things that are God’s.”
And they brought one. Then he said to them, “Whose head is this and whose title?” They answered, “Caesar’s.”
“Show me a denarius. Whose head and whose title does it bear?” They said, “Caesar’s.”
