And he told them many things in parables, saying: “Listen! A sower went out to sow.

One of the experts in the law answered him, “Teacher, when you say these things, you insult us, too.”


When the scribes and chief priests realized that he had told this parable against them, they wanted to lay hands on him at that very hour, but they feared the people.
