When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?

When the disciples heard this, they were utterly puzzled (astonished, bewildered), saying, Who then can be saved [from eternal death]?

And when the disciples heard it, they were astonished exceedingly, saying, Who then can be saved?

When his disciples heard this, they were stunned. “Then who can be saved?” they asked.

And upon hearing this, the disciples wondered greatly, saying: "Then who will be able to be saved?"

And when they had heard this, the disciples wondered very much, saying: Who then can be saved?

Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”

But Jesus looked at them and said, “For mortals it is impossible, but for God all things are possible.”

And if those days had not been cut short, no one would be saved, but for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.

And if the Lord had not cut short those days, no one would be saved, but for the sake of the elect, whom he chose, he has cut short those days.

For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
