And Judith said, “Begin a song to my God with tambourines; sing to my Lord with cymbals. Raise to him a new psalm; exalt him and call upon his name.

Then Judith sang this canticle to the Lord, saying:

Judith sang: Shout praises to my Lord God; play tambourines and cymbals. Sing a new song of praise and pray for his help.
