Eleazar son of Aaron died, and they buried him at Gibeah, the town of his son Phinehas, which had been given him in the hill country of Ephraim.


The Levite agreed to stay with the man, and the young man became to him like one of his sons.


Now there was a young man of Bethlehem in Judah, of the clan of Judah. He was a Levite residing there.


Micah said to him, “From where do you come?” He replied, “I am a Levite of Bethlehem in Judah, and I am going to live wherever I can find a place.”


In the days when the judges ruled, there was a famine in the land, and a certain man of Bethlehem in Judah went to live in the country of Moab, he and his wife and two sons.
