Peter said to her, “Tell me whether you and your husband sold the land for such and such a price.” And she said, “Yes, that was the price.”

And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.

And Peter said to her, Tell me, did you sell the land for so much? Yes, she said, for so much.

And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much. And she said, Yea, for so much.

Peter asked her, “Tell me, did you and your husband receive this price for the field?” She responded, “Yes, that’s the amount.”

And Peter said to her, "Tell me, woman, if you sold the field for this amount?" And she said, "Yes, for that amount."

And Peter said to her: Tell me, woman, whether you sold the land for so much? And she said: Yea, for so much.

with his wife’s knowledge, he kept back some of the proceeds and brought only a part and laid it at the apostles’ feet.

After an interval of about three hours his wife came in, not knowing what had happened.
