Then Zedekiah son of Chenaanah came up to Micaiah, slapped him on the cheek, and said, “Which way did the spirit of the Lord pass from me to speak to you?”
The king of Israel then ordered, “Take Micaiah, and return him to Amon the governor of the city and to Joash the king’s son,
O Lord, your hand is lifted up, but they do not see it. Let them see your zeal for your people and be ashamed. Let the fire for your adversaries consume them.
Come, my people, enter your chambers, and shut your doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until the wrath is past.
