Now by this we know that we have come to know him, if we obey his commandments.
but whoever obeys his word, truly in this person the love of God has reached perfection. By this we know that we are in him:
We know that we have passed from death to life because we love the brothers and sisters. Whoever does not love abides in death.
The commandment we have from him is this: those who love God must love their brothers and sisters also.
