If all were a single member, where would the body be?
And if they were all one member, where were the body?
But if [the whole] were all a single organ, where would the body be?
If all were one and the same body part, what would happen to the body?
So if they were all one part, how would it be a body?
And if they all were one member, where would be the body?
Indeed, the body does not consist of one member but of many.
But as it is, God arranged the members in the body, each one of them, as he chose.
As it is, there are many members yet one body.
