The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and his anointed, saying,
He clogged their chariot wheels so that they turned with difficulty. The Egyptians said, “Let us flee from the Israelites, for the Lord is fighting for them against Egypt.”
All these kings joined their forces, and came and camped together at the waters of Merom, to fight with Israel.
