And it came to pass, when his master heard the words of his wife, which she spake unto him, saying, After this manner did thy servant to me; that his wrath was kindled.


and spake to them after the counsel of the young men, saying, My father made your yoke heavy, and I will add to your yoke: my father also chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions.


But they hearkened not: and Manas´seh seduced them to do more evil than did the nations whom the Lord destroyed before the children of Israel.


A king that sitteth in the throne of judgment scattereth away all evil with his eyes.


The north wind driveth away rain: so doth an angry countenance a backbiting tongue.
