And it came to pass in the evening, that he took Le´ah his daughter, and brought her to him; and he went in unto her.


Give me my wives and my children, for whom I have served thee, and let me go: for thou knowest my service which I have done thee.


And Rachel and Le´ah answered and said unto him, Is there yet any portion or inheritance for us in our father's house?


For all the riches which God hath taken from our father, that is ours, and our children's: now then, whatsoever God hath said unto thee, do.


Thus have I been twenty years in thy house: I served thee fourteen years for thy two daughters, and six years for thy cattle; and thou hast changed my wages ten times.


And I said unto them, We, after our ability, have redeemed our brethren the Jews, which were sold unto the heathen; and will ye even sell your brethren? or shall they be sold unto us? Then held they their peace, and found nothing to answer.
