And Micai´ah said, Behold, thou shalt see in that day, when thou shalt go into an inner chamber to hide thyself.


and say, Thus saith the king, Put this fellow in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I come in peace.


Then the king of Israel called an officer, and said, Hasten hither Micai´ah the son of Imlah.


Then the king sent unto him a captain of fifty with his fifty. And he went up to him: and, behold, he sat on the top of a hill. And he spake unto him, Thou man of God, the king hath said, Come down.


and say, Thus saith the king, Put this fellow in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I return in peace.


But the king commanded Jerah´meel the son of Ham´melech, and Serai´ah the son of Az´ri-el, and Shelemi´ah the son of Ab´deel, to take Baruch the scribe and Jeremiah the prophet: but the Lord hid them.


Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.


Agree with thine adversary quickly, while thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.


And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.
