24 So the news about him went out into all of Syria, and the people brought to him all who were sick with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics. And he healed them.

Then a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute was brought to him, and Jesus healed him, so that the man who was blind and mute could speak and see.


At that time Herod the tetrarch heard the report about Jesus


And behold, a Canaanite woman from that region came and cried out to him, “Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter is severely demon-possessed.”


and saying, “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers terribly. For often he falls into the fire, and often into the water.


Then Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed from that hour.


Then Jesus went throughout all of Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.


When Jesus came to the other side of the sea, to the region of the Gergesenes, two demon-possessed men met him, coming out of the tombs. They were so fierce that no one could pass by that way.


Those who had been feeding the pigs then ran off, went into the city, and reported everything, including what had happened to the demon-possessed men.


saying, “Lord, my servant is lying paralyzed at home, suffering terribly.”


And news of this spread throughout that entire region.


Then Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people.


And the news about him immediately spread throughout all the surrounding region of Galilee.


When evening came, after the sun had set, they brought to Jesus all who were sick and those who were possessed by demons.


Then some people came to him, bringing a paralytic carried by four men.


Since they were not able to come near Jesus because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where he was. After digging through it, they let down the mat on which the paralytic was lying.


Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, ‘Yoʋr sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Rise, take up yoʋr mat, and walk’?


This was the first census, and it took place when Quirinius was governor of Syria.


Then Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread throughout the entire surrounding region.


Then Jesus arose, left the synagogue, and entered Simon's house. Now Simon's mother-in-law was suffering from a high fever, and they asked Jesus to help her.


But the news about Jesus spread even more, and large crowds would gather together to hear him and to be healed by him of their infirmities.


But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—he said to the paralyzed man—“I say to yoʋ, rise, pick up yoʋr mat, and go to yoʋr house.”


This news about Jesus then spread throughout Judea and all the surrounding region.


Others were saying, “These are not the words of a man possessed by a demon. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?”


how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, who then went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, because God was with him.


and to send with them this letter they had written: “The apostles, elders, and brothers, to the Gentile brothers in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia: Greetings.


And he went through Syria and Cilicia, strengthening the churches.


After this happened, the rest of the people on the island who were sick also came and were healed.


For unclean spirits came out of many who had them, crying out with a loud voice, and many who were paralyzed or lame were healed.
