13 So the owner of the vineyard said, ‘What should I do? I will send my beloved son; perhaps when they see him they will have respect for him.’

For a while he would not do so, but afterward he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor respect man,


Then he proceeded to send a third, but they wounded him as well and threw him out.


But when they saw him, the farmers discussed it among themselves, saying, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him so that the inheritance will be ours.’


Then a voice came from the cloud, saying, “This is my beloved Son; listen to him!”


And I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God.”


For what the law was powerless to do since it was weak through the flesh, God has done. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh,


But when the fullness of time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law,
