2 Therefore, when Paul and Barnabas had a great dissension and debate with them, the brothers appointed Paul and Barnabas and some others from among the believers to go up to the apostles and elders in Jerusalem to discuss this issue.

So Peter invited them in and put them up for the night. The next day Peter went with them, and some of the brothers from Joppa accompanied him.


The Spirit told me to go with them without any misgivings. These six brothers also went with me, and we went into the man's house.


This they did, sending it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.


it seemed good to us, having come to one accord, to send you men chosen from among us, along with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,


Therefore we have sent Judas and Silas, who will tell you the same things in their own words.


When they arrived in Jerusalem, they were welcomed by the church, the apostles, and the elders, and they reported all that God had done through them.


As they went through the cities, they delivered the decisions that had been reached by the apostles and the elders in Jerusalem for the Gentile believers to obey.


The following day Paul went in with us to James, and all the elders were present.


Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,


For I consider myself to be in no way inferior to these “super-apostles.”


But we did not yield to them in submission for even an hour, so that the truth of the gospel might be preserved for you.


Beloved, although I was quite eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints.
