I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, by the gazelles or the hinds of the field, that you stir not up nor awaken love until it please.


My beloved is like a gazelle, or a young stag. Behold, there he stands behind our wall, gazing in at the windows, looking through the lattice.


Until the day breathes and the shadows flee, I will hie me to the mountain of myrrh and the hill of frankincense.


He said therefore, “A nobleman went into a far country to receive a kingdom and then return.


“However, you may slaughter and eat flesh within any of your towns, as much as you desire, according to the blessing of the Lord your God which he has given you; the unclean and the clean may eat of it, as of the gazelle and as of the hart.

The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let him who hears say, “Come.” And let him who is thirsty come, let him who desires take the water of life without price.


He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!
