The LORD smelled the sweet savor. The LORD said in his heart, *I will not again curse the ground any more for man's sake, because the imagination of man's heart is evil from his youth; neither will I ever again strike everything living, as I have done.


People curse someone who withholds grain, but blessing will be on the head of him who sells it.


One who gives to the poor has no lack; but one who closes his eyes will have many curses.


Also don't take heed to all words that are spoken, lest you hear your servant curse you;


Then answered they and said before the king, That Daniyel, who is of the children of the captivity of Yehudah, doesn't regard you, O king, nor the interdict that you have signed, but makes his petition three times a day.


The king commanded, and they brought those men who had accused Daniyel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and broke all their bones in pieces, before they came to the bottom of the den.


Who are you who judge another's servant? To his own lord he stands or falls. Yes, he will be made to stand, for God has power to make him stand.


Beware that there not be a base thought in your heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and your eye be evil against your poor brother, and you give him nothing; and he cry to the LORD against you, and it be sin to you.


You shall not deliver to his master a servant who is escaped from his master to you:


David said to Sha'ul, Why listen you to men's words, saying, Behold, David seeks your hurt?


Now therefore, please let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If it be the LORD that has stirred you up against me, let him accept an offering: but if it be the children of men, cursed be they before the LORD: for they have driven me out this day that I shouldn't cling to the LORD's inheritance, saying, Go, serve other gods.


David said to him, Will you bring me down to this troop? He said, Swear to me by God, that you will neither kill me, nor deliver me up into the hands of my master, and I will bring you down to this troop.
