*Behold, we are going up to Yerushalayim. The Son of Man will be delivered to the chief Kohanim and the scribes. They will condemn him to death, and will deliver him to the Gentiles.


The chief Kohanim accused him of many things.


saying that the Son of Man must be delivered up into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again?*


Pilate therefore went out to them, and said, *What accusation do you bring against this man?*


Pilate therefore said to them, *Take him yourselves, and judge him according to your law.* Therefore the Judeans said to him, *It is not lawful for us to put anyone to death,*


At this, Pilate was seeking to release him, but the Judeans cried out, saying, *If you release this man, you aren't Caesar's friend! Everyone who makes himself a king speaks against Caesar!*


The God of Avraham, Yitzchak, and Ya`akov, the God of our fathers, has glorified his Servant Yeshua, whom you delivered up, and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he had determined to release him.


in which I suffer hardship to the point of chains as a criminal. But God's word isn't chained.


For let none of you suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or an evil doer, or a meddler in other men's matters.
