When he was departed there, he lighted on Yehonadav the son of Rechav coming to meet him; and he greeted him, and said to him, Is your heart right, as my heart is with your heart? Yehonadav answered, It is. If it be, give me your hand. He gave him his hand; and he took him up to him into the chariot.


I also tell you that you are Kefa, and on this rock I will build my assembly, and the gates of She'ol will not prevail against it.


He sent Kefa and Yochanan, saying, *Go and prepare the Pesach for us, that we may eat.*


He brought him to Yeshua. Yeshua looked at him, and said, *You are Shim`on the son of Yonah. You shall be called Kefa* (which is by interpretation, Rock).


But he, beckoning to them with his hand to be silent, declared to them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. He said, *Tell these things to Ya`akov, and to the brothers.* Then he departed, and went to another place.


After they were silent, Ya`akov answered, *Brothers, listen to me.


When there had been much discussion, Kefa rose up and said to them, *Brothers, you know that a good while ago God made a choice among you, that by my mouth the nations should hear the word of the Good News, and believe.


Yosi, who by the emissaries was surnamed Bar-Nabba (which is, being interpreted, Son of Encouragement), a Levite, a man of Cyprus by race,


through whom we received grace and the office of emissary, for obedience of faith among all the nations, for his name's sake;


For I say, through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.


But I write the more boldly to you in part, as reminding you, because of the grace that was given to me by God,


But by the grace of God I am what I am. His grace which was bestowed on me was not futile, but I worked more than all of them; yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.


For I reckon that I am not at all behind the very best emissaries.


I have become foolish in boasting. You compelled me, for I ought to have been commended by you, for in nothing was I inferior to the very best emissaries, though I am nothing.


begging us with much entreaty to receive this grace and the fellowship in the service to the holy ones.


to reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the Gentiles, I didn't immediately confer with flesh and blood,


Then after three years I went up to Yerushalayim to visit Kefa, and stayed with him fifteen days.


Then after a period of fourteen years I went up again to Yerushalayim with Bar-Nabba, taking Titus also with me.


I went up by revelation, and I laid before them the Good News which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately before those who were respected, for fear that I might be running, or had run, in vain.


For if a man thinks himself to be something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.


being built on the foundation of the emissaries and prophets, Messiah Yeshua himself being the chief cornerstone;


To me, the very least of all holy ones, was this grace given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Messiah,


for which I also labor, striving according to his working, which works in me mightily.


but if I wait long, that you may know how men ought to behave themselves in the house of God, which is the assembly of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.


that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us. Yes, and our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son, Yeshua the Messiah.


He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God, and he will go out from there no more. I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Yerushalayim, which comes down out of heaven from my God, and my own new name.
