1 When it happened that we had parted from them and had set sail, we came with a straight course to Cos, and the next day to Rhodes, and from there to Patara.

Now it happened on one of those days, that he entered into a boat, himself and his talmidim, and he said to them, *Let's go over to the other side of the lake.* So they launched out.


Embarking in a ship of Adramyttium, which was about to sail to places on the coast of Asia, we put to sea; Aristarchus, a Macedonian of Thessalonica, being with us.


Putting to sea from there, we sailed under the lee of Cyprus, because the winds were contrary.


But we, brothers, being bereaved of you for a short season, in presence, not in heart, tried even harder to see your face with great desire,
