24 Let your name be confirmed and magnified for ever in the saying, ‘The Lord of Armies, the God of Israel, is God over Israel.’ May the house of your servant David be established before you.

Now, Lord, let the word that you have spoken concerning your servant and his house be confirmed for ever, and do as you have promised.


Since you, my God, have revealed to  , your servant that you will build him a house, your servant has found courage to pray in your presence.


may you hear in heaven in your dwelling place, and do all the foreigner asks you. Then all the peoples of the earth will know your name, to fear you as your people Israel do and know that this temple I have built bears your name.


‘At that time’ #– #this is the Lord’s declaration #– #‘I will be the God of all the families of Israel,  and they will be my people.’


Jeremiah therefore said to Zedekiah, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of Armies, the God of Israel, says: “If indeed you surrender to the officials of the king of Babylon,  then you will live, this city will not be burned, and you and your household will survive.


And do not bring us into    temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.   ,


‘Therefore, you should pray like this: Our Father in heaven, your name be honoured as holy.


Father, glorify your name.’   , Then a voice  came from heaven:  ‘I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.’


Jesus spoke these things, looked up to heaven, and said, ‘Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son so that the Son   may glorify you,


and every tongue  will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory  of God the Father.


But they now desire a better place #– #a heavenly one. Therefore, God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.


For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.


If anyone speaks, let it be as one who speaks God’s words; if anyone serves, let it be from the strength God provides,  so that God may be glorified through Jesus Christ in everything. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.


Then I heard a loud voice  from the throne:  , Look, God’s dwelling  is with humanity, and he will live with them. They will be his peoples,  , and God himself will be with them and will be their God.
