And when he had ordered the multitude to sit down upon the grass, he took the five loaves and the two fish, and gazing up to heaven, he blessed and broke and gave the bread to the disciples, and then the disciples to the multitudes.


And taking the seven loaves and the fish, and giving thanks, he broke and gave to his disciples, and the disciples gave to the people.


And gazing up to heaven, he groaned and said to him: "Ephphatha," which is, "Be opened."


And taking bread, he gave thanks and broke it and gave it to them, saying: "This is my body, which is given for you. Do this as a commemoration of me."

Yet truly, other boats came over from Tiberias, next to the place where they had eaten the bread after the Lord gave thanks.


And when he had said these things, taking bread, he gave thanks to God in the sight of them all. And when he had broken it, he began to eat.


He who understands the age, understands for the Lord. And he who eats, eats for the Lord; for he gives thanks to God. And he who does not eat, does not eat for the Lord, and he gives thanks to God.


If I partake with thanksgiving, why should I be slandered over that for which I give thanks?


and giving thanks, he broke it, and said: "Take and eat. This is my body, which shall be given up for you. Do this in remembrance of me."


Upon entering the city, you should find him immediately, before he ascends to the high place for the meal. And the people will not eat until he has arrived. For he blesses the victim, and thereafter those who were called will eat. Now therefore, go up. For you will find him today."
