Then his disciples asked him, “Why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?”
But I tell you that Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but did to him whatever they wished. Even so the Son of Man is about to suffer at their hands.”
So when they had come together, they asked him, “Lord, are yoʋ going to restore the kingdom to Israel at this time?”
Heaven must receive him until the time comes for the restoration of all things, which God declared by the mouth of all his holy prophets long ago.
