Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves servants for obedience, you are servants of the one whom you obey, whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness?

I call upon you, therefore, brothers, through the compassion of Elohim, to present your bodies a living offering – set-apart, well-pleasing to Elohim – your reasonable worship.


But thanks to Elohim that you were servants of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of teaching to which you were entrusted.


Do you not know that you are a Dwelling Place of Elohim and that the Spirit of Elohim dwells in you?


Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the entire lump?


Do you not know that the set-apart ones shall judge the world? And if the world is judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters?


Do you not know that we shall judge messengers? How much more, matters of this life?


Do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the reign of Elohim? Do not be deceived. Neither those who whore, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,


Do you not know that those serving the Set-apart Place eat from the Set-apart Place, and those attending at the slaughter-place have their share of the offerings of the slaughter-place?


Do you not know that those who run in a race indeed all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way as to obtain it.


“And if it seems evil in your eyes to serve יהוה, choose for yourselves this day whom you are going to serve, whether the mighty ones which your fathers served that were beyond the River, or the mighty ones of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But I and my house, we serve יהוה.”


promising them freedom, though themselves being slaves of corruption – for one is a slave to whatever overcomes him.
