Have not You, O Elohim, rejected us? And You do not go out, O Elohim, With our armies!

He also struck Mo’aḇ, and measured them off with a line, causing them to lie down on the earth. With two lines he measured off those to be put to death, and with one complete line those to be kept alive. And the Mo’aḇites became Dawiḏ’s servants, and brought presents.


Then Dawiḏ put watch-posts in Aram of Dammeseq. And the Arameans became Dawiḏ’s servants, and brought presents. And יהוה saved Dawiḏ wherever he went.


Have You not rejected us, O Elohim? And You do not go out with our armies, O Elohim!


Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, But we remember the Name of יהוה our Elohim.


O Elohim, You have rejected us; You have broken us; You have been displeased; Turn back to us!


And I shall wait on יהוה, who hides His face from the house of Ya‛aqoḇ. And I shall look for Him.


And יהוה said to me, ‘Say to them, “Do not go up nor fight, for I am not in your midst, lest you be smitten before your enemies.” ’ ”


for יהוה your Elohim is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.’


And Yehoshua captured all these sovereigns and their land at one time, because יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕl fought for Yisra’ĕl.


“And the sons of Yisra’ĕl shall not be able to stand before their enemies. They are going to turn their backs before their enemies, for they have become accursed. I am not with you any more, unless you destroy that which is under the ban from your midst.
