Then the children of Gaḏ and the children of Re’uḇĕn answered, saying, “As יהוה has said to your servants, so we do.

The sons of Gad and Reuben answered, As the Lord has said to your servants, so will we do.

And the children of Gad and the children of Reuben answered, saying, As Jehovah hath said unto thy servants, so will we do.

The Gadites and the Reubenites answered, “We’ll do just as the LORD has spoken to your servants.

And the sons of Gad and the sons of Ruben responded: "Just as the Lord has spoken to his servants, so shall we do.

And the children of Gad, and the children of Ruben answered: As the Lord hath spoken to his servants, so will we do.

But if they do not pass over armed with you, they shall have possessions among you in the land of Kena‛an.

We ourselves are passing over armed before יהוה into the land of Kena‛an, but the possession of our inheritance remains with us beyond the Yardĕn.

Let Re’uḇĕn live, and not die, and let his men be numbered.

And they answered Yehoshua, saying, “All that you have commanded us we do, and wherever you send us we go.
