And the taught ones came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?”
Then, having sent the crowds away, יהושע went into the house. And His taught ones came to Him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the darnel of the field.”
And after six days יהושע took Kĕpha, and Ya‛aqoḇ, and Yoḥanan his brother, and brought them up on a high mountain by themselves,
And when they came near to Yerushalayim, and came to Bĕyth Phaḡi, at the Mount of Olives, then יהושע sent two taught ones,
And as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the taught ones came to Him separately, saying, “Say to us, when shall this be, and what is the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?”
And Ya‛aqoḇ and Yoḥanan, the sons of Zaḇdai, came up to Him, saying, “Teacher, we wish that You would do for us whatever we ask.”
Say to us, when shall these events be? And what shall be the sign when all this is going to be accomplished?
And He took with Him Kĕpha, and Ya‛aqoḇ, and Yoḥanan, and He began to be greatly amazed, and to be deeply distressed.
and He was not speaking to them without parables. And when they were alone, He explained all to His taught ones.
And He allowed no one to follow Him except Kĕpha, and Ya‛aqoḇ, and Yoḥanan the brother of Ya‛aqoḇ.
And after six days יהושע took Kĕpha, and Ya‛aqoḇ, and Yoḥanan, and led them up on a high mountain alone by themselves. And He was transformed before them.
