To the Torah and to the witness! If they do not speak according to this Word, it is because they have no daybreak.
“Leave your fatherless children, let Me keep them alive. And let your widows trust in Me.”
But He answering, said, “It has been written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of יהוה.’ ”
Do not worry then, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’
And He said to them, “When I sent you without purse and bag and sandals, did you lack any?” And they said, “None at all.”
for it has been written, ‘He shall command His messengers concerning You, to guard over You,’
And the devil said to Him, “If You are the Son of Elohim, command this stone to become bread.”
And יהושע answering him, said, “Get behind Me, Satan! For it has been written, ‘You shall worship יהוה your Elohim, and Him only you shall serve.’ ”
Take also the helmet of deliverance, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of Elohim,
And He humbled you, and let you suffer hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, to make you know that man does not live by bread alone, but by every Word that comes from the mouth of יהוה.
