Judges 13:17 - The Scriptures 2009

Then Manowaḥ said to the Messenger of יהוה, “What is Your name? When Your words come true, then we shall esteem You.”

And Manoah said unto the angel of the LORD, What is thy name, that when thy sayings come to pass we may do thee honour?

And Manoah said to the Angel of the Lord, What is your name, so that when your words come true, we may do you honor?

And Manoah said unto the angel of Jehovah, What is thy name, that, when thy words come to pass, we may do thee honor?

Manoah said to the LORD’s messenger, “What’s your name, so that we may honor you when your words come true?”

And he said to him, "What is your name, so that, if your word is fulfilled, we may honor you?"

And he said to him: What is thy name, that, if thy word shall come to pass, we may honour thee?

And Ya‛aqoḇ asked Him, saying, “Please let me know Your Name.” And He said, “Why do you ask about My Name?” And He blessed him there.

And Ya‛aqoḇ called the name of the place Peni’ĕl, “For I have seen Elohim face to face, and my life is preserved.”

And the Messenger of יהוה said to him, “Why do you ask My name, since it is wondrous?”
