John 8:57 - The Scriptures 2009

The Yehuḏim, therefore, said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Aḇraham?”

Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?

Then the Jews said to Him, You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?

The Jews therefore said unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?

“You aren’t even 50 years old!” the Jewish opposition replied. “How can you say that you have seen Abraham?”

And so the Jews said to him, "You have not yet reached fifty years, and you have seen Abraham?"

The Jews therefore said to him: Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?

Now this was the witness of Yoḥanan when the Yehuḏim sent from Yerushalayim priests and Lĕwites to ask him, “Who are you?”

יהושע said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Aḇraham came to be, I am.”
