Of Myself I am unable to do any matter. As I hear, I judge, and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own desire, but the desire of the Father who sent Me.


יהושע answered and said to them, “This is the work of Elohim, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”


For the bread of Elohim is He who comes down out of the heaven and gives life to the world.


And they said, “Is not this יהושע, the son of Yosĕph, whose father and mother we know? How is it then that He says, ‘I have come down out of the heaven’?”


“As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me shall live because of Me.


For even the Messiah did not please Himself, but, as it has been written, “The reproaches of those who reproached You fell upon Me.”


But what does “He went up” mean, except that He also first went down into the lower parts of the earth?


though being a Son, He learned obedience by what He suffered.
