And after a while those who stood by came to him and said to Kĕpha, “Truly you are one of them too, for even your speech gives you away.”
And after a little while another saw him and said, “You are one of them too.” But Kĕpha said, “Man, I am not!”
Having said these words, יהושע went out with His taught ones beyond the Qiḏron torrent, where there was a garden, into which He and His taught ones entered.
Then Shim‛on Kĕpha, having a sword, drew it and struck the high priest’s servant, and cut off his right ear. And the servant’s name was Meleḵ.
