So he put them in confinement in the house of the captain of the guard, in the prison, the place where Yosĕph was a prisoner.


And the scarcity of food was over all the face of the earth, and Yosĕph opened all the storehouses and sold to the Mitsrites. And the scarcity of food was severe in the land of Mitsrayim.


We are all one man’s sons, we are trustworthy, your servants are not spies.


Now Yosĕph said to them the third day, “Do this and live, for I fear Elohim:


“And bring your youngest brother to me, and let your words be confirmed, and you do not die.” And so they did.


So they loaded their donkeys with the grain and went from there.


“And the man, the master of the land, said to us, ‘By this I know that you are trustworthy: Leave one of your brothers here with me, and take food for the scarcity of food of your households, and go.


And he sent to his father this: ten donkeys loaded with the best of Mitsrayim, and ten female donkeys loaded with grain, and bread, and food for his father for the journey.


But this is a people robbed and plundered, all of them are snared in holes, and they are hidden in prison houses. They have become a prey, with no one to deliver – for plunder, and no one to say, “Restore!”


to open blind eyes, to bring out prisoners from the prison, those who sit in darkness from the prison house.


And the heads were wroth with Yirmeyahu, and struck him and put him in prison in the house of Yehonathan the scribe. For they had made that for a prison.
