And Sarai, Aḇram’s wife, took Haḡar her female servant, the Mitsrian, and gave her to her husband Aḇram to be his wife, after Aḇram had dwelt ten years in the land of Kena‛an.
And Laḇan gave his female servant Zilpah to his daughter Lĕ’ah as a female servant.
And she conceived again and bore a son, and said, “Now I praise יהוה.” So she called his name Yehuḏah. And she ceased bearing.
And Elohim listened to Lĕ’ah, and she conceived and bore Ya‛aqoḇ a fifth son.
So she gave him Bilhah her female servant as wife, and Ya‛aqoḇ went in to her.
And Raḥĕl said, “With great wrestlings I have wrestled with my sister, and I have overcome.” So she called his name Naphtali.
These were the sons of Zilpah, whom Laḇan gave to Lĕ’ah his daughter. And these she bore to Ya‛aqoḇ: sixteen beings.
