And Ḥushai, Dawiḏ’s friend, went into the city. And Aḇshalom came into Yerushalayim.

But Aḇshalom said, “Now call Ḥushai the Arkite also, and let us hear what he says too.”

and Azaryahu son of Nathan, over the officers; Zaḇuḏ son of Nathan, a priest, friend of the sovereign;

And Aḥithophel was the sovereign’s counsellor, and Ḥushai the Arkite was the sovereign’s companion.

and went out from Bĕyth Ěl to Luz, and passed over to the border of the Arkites at Ataroth,
