But he said to them, “How can they say that the Christ is David's son?


In that hour he cured many of diseases and plagues and evil spirits, and on many that were blind he bestowed sight.


Has not the scripture said that the Christ is descended from David, and comes from Bethlehem, the village where David was?”

to them belong the patriarchs, and of their race, according to the flesh, is the Christ. God who is over all be blessed for ever. Amen.
