John 13:6 - Revised Standard Version

He came to Simon Peter; and Peter said to him, “Lord, do you wash my feet?”

When He came to Simon Peter, [Peter] said to Him, Lord, are my feet to be washed by You? [Is it for You to wash my feet?]

So he cometh to Simon Peter. He saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet?

When Jesus came to Simon Peter, Peter said to him, “Lord, are you going to wash my feet?”

And then he came to Simon Peter. And Peter said to him, "Lord, would you wash my feet?"

He cometh therefore to Simon Peter. And Peter saith to him: Lord, dost thou wash my feet?

But when Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord.”

even he who comes after me, the thong of whose sandal I am not worthy to untie.”

Then he poured water into a basin, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel with which he was girded.

Jesus answered him, “What I am doing you do not know now, but afterward you will understand.”
