as I was in my autumn days, when the friendship of God was upon my tent;
The friendship of the Lord is for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant.
for the perverse man is an abomination to the Lord, but the upright are in his confidence.
For who among them has stood in the council of the Lord to perceive and to hear his word, or who has given heed to his word and listened?
Surely the Lord God does nothing, without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets.

O the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!
“For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor?”
“For who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.
“The secret things belong to the Lord our God; but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.
