Now, after the king had burned the scroll with the words which Baruch wrote at Jeremiah's dictation, the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah:


“Take another scroll and write on it all the former words that were in the first scroll, which Jehoiakim the king of Judah has burned.


and if any one takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.
