Now therefore in the sight of all Israel, the assembly of the Lord, and in the hearing of our God, observe and seek out all the commandments of the Lord your God; that you may possess this good land, and leave it for an inheritance to your children after you for ever.


so that they should set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments;


But he said, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”


You are my friends if you do what I command you.


These are the words that Moses spoke to all Israel beyond the Jordan in the wilderness, in the Arabah over against Suph, between Paran and Tophel, Laban, Hazeroth, and Dizahab.


you shall be careful to do all the statutes and the ordinances which I set before you this day.


“This day the Lord your God commands you to do these statutes and ordinances; you shall therefore be careful to do them with all your heart and with all your soul.


that he will set you high above all nations that he has made, in praise and in fame and in honor, and that you shall be a people holy to the Lord your God, as he has spoken.”


And on the day you pass over the Jordan to the land which the Lord your God gives you, you shall set up large stones, and plaster them with plaster;


You shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he has commanded you.


For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become guilty of all of it.
