“And now I will show you the truth. Behold, three more kings shall arise in Persia; and a fourth shall be far richer than all of them; and when he has become strong through his riches, he shall stir up all against the kingdom of Greece.
Then a mighty king shall arise, who shall rule with great dominion and do according to his will.
After you shall arise another kingdom inferior to you, and yet a third kingdom of bronze, which shall rule over all the earth.
After this I looked, and lo, another, like a leopard, with four wings of a bird on its back; and the beast had four heads; and dominion was given to it.
As for the ram which you saw with the two horns, these are the kings of Media and Persia.
As for the horn that was broken, in place of which four others arose, four kingdoms shall arise from his nation, but not with his power.
